PILATES LABORATORY
COMMUNITY OF MOVERS WHO VALUE STRENGTH, REFINEMENT & INTELLIGENT PROGRESS
LIFE IN THE LAB
At Pilates Laboratory, movement is more than exercise—it’s a practice of intelligence, refinement, and belonging. Rooted in classical Pilates and elevated with modern training, we create experiences that are never the same twice yet always intentional.
Whether in a small-group setting or a private one-on-one session, each experience at the Lab is thoughtfully curated—where challenge meets control, and every moment builds strength, stability, and smarter connection.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Chandler E Rossi
I started Pilates Laboratory because I wanted to create the kind of space I couldn’t find anywhere else — one that honors the roots of classical Pilates, but also adapts and evolves with the way we live and move today. My goal has always been to make movement feel intelligent, thoughtful, and personal — something that makes sense in your body and builds real strength over time.
Before I began teaching Pilates, I worked in business and finance. Over time, I left that career to pursue a path in physical therapy, driven by my own experience navigating injuries from years of soccer and distance running. I was searching for solutions—for myself and for those facing similar challenges.
That’s when I found the reformer. I’d always loved mat Pilates, but working with the equipment gave me a deeper awareness and connection in my body. For over a year, I committed to taking classes regularly—three times a week, sometimes more—before ever starting my certification. That consistency gave me firsthand insight into just how transformative this work can be when you truly commit to it.
I’m comprehensively certified through Balanced Body in all Pilates apparatus (Mat, Reformer, Chair, Tower, Barrel, and Trapeze Table) and also hold a NASM personal training certification. My teaching is influenced by my background in athletics, rehab, and a genuine interest in anatomy, physiology, and how the body works.
Pilates Laboratory is rooted in that same philosophy: We move with purpose. We train hard, but we train smart. I care deeply about the people who walk through the studio doors — and it’s my priority that this space always feels welcoming, challenging, and honest. Whether you're brand new or years into your practice, my goal is to help you move better, feel stronger, and build a deeper connection to your body.
