Chandler Rossi

Chandler is the founder of Pilates Laboratory, the Baltimore studio built to make Pilates stronger, sharper, and anything but expected. A former athlete with a background in rehab and anatomy, she blends classical foundations with modern training to create movement that actually delivers: real strength, real results, and never the same class twice.

Chandler is comprehensively certified through Balanced Body in all Pilates apparatus, including Mat, Reformer, Chair, Tower, Barrel, and Trapeze Table, and also holds a NASM personal training certification. Her teaching is shaped by a background in athletics, rehab, and a deep interest in anatomy, physiology, and the mechanics of movement.

At Pilates Laboratory, Chandler brings a philosophy of purposeful movement—training hard, but always training smart. She is dedicated to creating an environment that feels welcoming, challenging, and honest, where every client feels supported in their practice. Her goal is to help clients move better, build strength, and develop a deeper connection to their bodies, whether they are new to Pilates or refining years of experience.

Kate Cook, Instructor

With over a decade of experience in personal training and group fitness, Kate brings a grounded, knowledgeable presence to every class. She’s a Balanced Body Pilates Instructor and an ACE-certified Personal Trainer, with roots in professional dance and a refined understanding of biomechanics.

Her teaching style emphasizes thoughtful sequencing, proper alignment, and mind-body connection—helping clients move with intention and feel more at home in their bodies. Kate is all about creating an encouraging space where everyone feels seen, supported, and stronger by the end of class. You’ll leave feeling uplifted, focused, and better for having shown up.

Barri DeFrancisci, Instructor

With a background in ballet, dance, and yoga, Barri brings a refined sense of control and fluidity to her Pilates instruction. Her deep understanding of movement mechanics allows her to lead sessions that feel graceful yet grounded—challenging balance, mobility, and strength with intention.

At Pilates Laboratory, Barri merges her classical foundation with the studio’s creative, modern approach to reformer Pilates. Her classes are rooted in flow and precision, helping clients move better, feel stronger, and tap into a deeper sense of body awareness. Expect quiet intensity, thoughtful sequencing, and a calm energy that encourages presence with every rep.
